Respect yourself and know your worth. Sounds simple enough, right? Then how come so many people accept less than what they are worth? How come so many compromise their self respect because of another?
You are one of a kind. There is no one like you in the entire world. You are 1 in 7.53 billion… so treat yourself that way!
You should be respected and admired. Loved and cherished. And much, much more. Don’t waste your time with someone that makes you conform to their lifestyle. To their schedule. To their priorities. YOU ARE A PRIORITY!
Align yourself with a person that respects you enough to make you an equal in their world. A person that would never expect you to go out of your way for their convenience. A person that respects your time as much as they respect their own.
Find someone that is proud of you and doesn’t insist on hiding you out of sight. Someone that has a place for you in their lives. That one is huge folks! You shouldn’t be another part of their life or another life altogether. You should be integrated into their lives as a sign of mutual respect and pride.
Find someone that knows your value… that recognizes your future value… and that values you and everything you are.
Find someone that will fight for you, support your dreams and goals… someone that will be your biggest fan but who also will tell it to you straight… even when it’s not what you want to hear.
Know your worth… and never settle for anyone that doesn’t. Respect yourself enough to want an equal… not a dominant. Someone that has goals and dreams of their own but who will also support yours as your biggest cheerleader and confidant.
Don’t waste your time with people who cheat or expect you to. Don’t waste your time with people that expect you to change for them. And never… never, waste your time with someone that you have to share.
At the end of the day you deserve to be truly valued. You deserve to be respected. You deserve that one person that knows what your worth… and maybe even thinks you’re worth even more….
